hello, old friend

Hello world. Hello blog! Wow it’s been a while. I didn’t mean to stop writing on my little blog. It kind of just happened. It was very close to expiring and disappearing forever until my credit card came to the rescue to sort me out.

We’re still living in our small-but-perfectly-formed flat and I continue to ask myself ‘how can I make my home really super amazing just like on Apartment Therapy?’ Daily.

Black & White

In preparation for the Moonwalk next Saturday, this week has involved a lot of walking. I decided to snap away when I was out and about to combine walking training with my love of playing the tourist card whenever possible. These photos have been taken in Regents Park, St James’ Park, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and along my walk to work..enjoy!

Throwback Thursday: Manu, Peru 2007

19 year old me swinging through the jungle in the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest. During my gap year before university, I spent two months volunteering on a conservation project in deepest darkest Peru.

Over the years I think this photo must have been copied a few times and sadly I have no idea where the original is. Thanks to facebook, I still have a copy though! It was my first experience of ‘travelling’ and it was the start of my love for exploring the world. I hold many dear memories of this time and hope to go back there some time in the future.
